At least at the events that we’ve been at, the weather hasn’t been the kindest this season. The Burton European Open was plagued by strong winds and whiteout conditions while The Brits also suffered from less than ideal visibility. The weather looked promising when we arrived at the DC Shred Days event in Meribel but as Eero Ettala, Heikki Sorsa and Lauri Heiskari also found out, the big grey cloud of doom decided to follow us there too. It’s because we’re British innit?

Anyway, the Cooking With Gas trio refused to let a stupid cloud  piss on their parade and had a rad demo session before heading out to Tornikeskus, Finland for some junkyard style shredding, with Eero stomping a massive backside rodeo to front board (over a snow cat no less), before literally embracing the term ‘mini-shred’. After it’s onto Talma where the sun finally decided to show up.

We’re hoping for a similar fairytale ending when we head out to Spring Break at the end of this week…
