They say: All terrain attack vehicle.

We say:
The poplar core and camber profile keep this stick poppy, and the directional shape makes it great for slashing pow or carving groomed pistes. The flex might make it a bit stiff for most beginners, but it’s designed for hard-charging freestylers really.
Tester says: Quick edge to edge and stable at speed. Cheap too!

About Capita

  • Building boards since: 2000
  • HQ: Seattle, WA, USA
  • History lesson: Capita was founded by former Burton pro-rider and art afficianado Jason Brown in the early years of this century and quickly established itself as the anarchic devil-child of the snowboarding world. Capita combines this snotty punk-rock attitude with graphics by people who take themselves seriously as artists. But the brand is also renowned for its sense of humour, as classic designs like the twin-swallowtail Travis Parker pro-model showed. The graphic told riders where not to grab to avoid looking gay.
  • Ridden by: Park rats who roll up the bottom of their beanies and keep their middle finger in a constant state of readiness to flick at police, parents or pisteurs. And unfortunately, the kind of wanker who thinks name-dropping Dash Snow makes him cool.
