The Navigator returns to CAPiTA’s line as a floaty powder ripper, the name remains the same, but otherwise it’s a whole different beast. The Navigator has gone under the knife for a few choice nips and tucks to show off an updated shape and a powerful new profile for 2020/21.
There a few things in life upon which everyone agrees, and the fact that riding powder is dreamy is one of them. When it comes to making your snowboard float effortlessly in deep snow there are several ways to skin that cat, and the Navigator makes good use of them all. The tapered directional shape, 1-inch setback and rockered nose do all the heavy lifting when you hit the payload leaving you free and clear to whoop and holler your way through silky turns and fat slashes galore.

Unfortunately, not every day is a bluebird pow day, and while the Navigator no doubt is most at home when the white waves are pumping, it does boast a bit more all-terrain versatility than in previous years thanks to the new profile. Camber runs through the midbody of the board injecting a serious dose of life and power and when paired with the nifty Parabolic Sidecut, you’ve got aboard that’ll turn on a dime and tear up groomers.
Two Carbon Fiber Struts run from the middle of the board out to the nose, boosting response and strengthening it up. The Navigator becomes your own personal battering ram, smashing through chop and chunder with ease.
After its new face lift, this Alpine Assault Force stalwart has only increased its popularity- the CAPiTA Navigator is your trusty companion for excursions both on and off the beaten track, simply strap in and head out.
