We paid the Burton Showroom a visit out in Bracknell and got introduced to their 2019/2020 line. It’s no secret that Burton aims to target a wider audience with their clothing lines, but we were surprised to see how broad their collection really is. Usually you’d only get a glimpse of the whole line in any average outerwear store, so being introduced to the whole range was a real treat.
“Burton has been putting a lot of focus on sustainability”
Burton has been putting a lot of focus on sustainability lately. For 2020 the brand aims for all of their soft goods to be bluesign approved containing only sustainable cotton, using zero biocides and less water. Burton’s already introduced a DryDyed Men’s AK Gore-Tex Jacket to their outerwear collection, which will be available for the season to come as well. DryDye is a waterless dyeing process, so tons of water will be saved when deciding on this alternative dyeing technology.
New for next season Burton will introduce a new look and fit for the Men’s AK range. A lot of new styles and colours will also be seen in the shops, but not to worry, the basic black is still around to please the slightly less adventurous minds.
