You don’t have to look far to find a Burton snowboard – now 40 years old, it’s still the biggest snowboard company in the world.

As a result, our test team ride more Burtons during the winter than any other brand – and we’ve compiled all their thoughts about the big B’s 2016/17 output into this handy list.

The pro team is stacked, but their range offers something for everyone. Whether you’re male or female, into freestyle or freeriding, have fat stacks or a tight budget, you’re bound to find something that works for you:

Burton Antler

The Antler is a premium-quality stick that’s packed to the brim with Burton’s top tech. If you’re after a lightweight camber board that excels in the park and holds up elsewhere too, look no further.

Burton Clash

This is famously a board that punches above its weight. For beginners the Clash is a no-brainer, but more seasoned riders can have a blast on this too.

Burton Custom

The original Custom soldiers on. It may have had a few technical tweaks, but they don’t get in the way of what makes this so popular. It’s still a classic camber that tears up the whole mountain with ease.

Burton Custom Flying V

Take the standard Custom and add a hybrid profile, and you’ve got the Custom Flying V.

Less aggressive riders will prefer this one, with the rocker section in the middle mellowing out the ride a little.

Burton Custom Twin

Here’s everything you love about the Custom, but with a freestyle twist.

This one’s a true twin, albeit with an asymmetrical element to the core profile that better suits the standard stance of a park rat.

Burton Custom X

The souped-up, supercharged version of the Custom is not for the faint-hearted – but if you can handle it then prepare to rip up the pistes like never before.

Lightweight and precise, this will suit any skilled rider with a need for speed.

Burton Custom X Flying V

Now the Custom Flying V has its own turbo version; the Custom X Flying V has all of the regular X’s top tech and lightweight construction, but isn’t as merciless thanks to the combo profile.

Burton Deja Vu

Another Flying V board, this female-specific stick has long been a winner with those who like their freestyle.

It’s not one for absolutely hooning it towards the biggest features in the park, but for everything else it has the potential to seriously raise your trick game.

Burton Easy Livin

Danny Davis‘ signature snowboard always has a strong design game, and this year’s Led Zep version is no exception.

Naturally it’s at its best in the park, but it’s great for getting spontaneous all over the hill.

Burton Feelgood

Available both in camber and combo versions, the Feelgood is Burton’s flagship women’s board.

It’s a carbon-enhanced workhorse that is perfect for all-rounders – both versions have their own strengths, so there’s a Feelgood for everyone.

Burton Process

The Process is just the thing for park fiends who want to keep their costs down.

Despite its affordable price, the Process is stacked with great features that make it perfect for endless laps of sizeable booters and slushy side-hits alike.

Burton Process Off-Axis

Burton’s ‘Off-Axis’ construction is subtle, but effective. It retains all the goodness of the original Process, but th  tweaks will sit well with those who like a bit of asymmetry in their park boards.

Burton Ripcord

Another entry-level board, the directional design of the Ripcord means that those looking to get their riding up to speed quickly will find this a breeze. It’s not the best for freestyle, but if you’re not interested in the park then this may suit your needs better than the Clash.

Burton Trick Pony

With a new profile and shape for 2016/17, the Trick Pony is worth a look even if previous versions have not been to your taste.

The mostly-camber profile delivers plenty of pop, making it even better for big, burly backcountry freestyle. If you can step up to this, you’ll love it.
