Burton Rail Days 2015

Full highlights from the rail jam in Tokyo

Here’s one you can watch on the sly from your desk – given how pisspoor the music is, you’re actually doing yourself a favour if you have it on mute…

The riding, on the other hand, is top drawer. The Burton Rail Days jam in Tokyo once again featured a tricky course, but the likes of Johnny O’Connor and Ethan Deiss – being no strangers to transfers and wallrides – made it look easy. Sebastien Toutant was there too, getting inverted wherever possible and showing why he’s still one of the best all-rounders in the game.

Locals Yuma Abe and Yuki Kadono were holding it down for Nippon, but in the end the podium was a North American clean sweep. Darcy Sharpe took the top spot, followed by fellow yank Alex Andrews and last year’s winner, Zach Aller from Canada.

If this has whetted your appetite for more, the whole event is available to watch at the Burton Rail Days website.
