Danny ‘The Dude’ Davis and his shred padawan Ben Ferguson are here for another instalment of Burton Presents… which handily doubles as year three of El Duderino’s Peace Park project, bringing some of the best riders together on the most innovative set up the team can think of each spring.
Top to bottom party boarding conga lines blending into a bro-down-throw-down – some of the cleanest corks you’re likely to encounter this side of the Champagne region are on display here
This year is a doozy: the park taking the shape of a leviathan-sized boardercross course with XL booters and burms before morphing into a super pipe complete with a 22-foot bowl at the end.
The results are as good as ever, with top to bottom party boarding conga lines blending into a bro-down-throw-down – some of the cleanest corks you’re likely to encounter this side of the Champagne region are on display here.
Highlights have to include the inevitable outing of Davis’ switch method – lofted high above the pipe wall – and Nik Baden’s super-clean front 1080 tail-to-nose, complete with a gnarly first attempt slam and popped of the toes to boot.
But this ain’t about highlights, this is all about the shred, bro. Plus, the end credits hint at a full Peace Park edit with the whole team featured, we can but sit and wait for that piece of shred heaven..
