A Whitelines favourite year on year, the Burton Lexa is a certified box ticker. Tweaky enough for cruisy park laps? Check. All the mod cons for easy access and versatility? Check. Enough juice for gobbling up groomers? Check. Lightweight and user friendly? Double check. The only thing the Lexa’s can’t do is strap themselves up. Ah, to dream.

Seriously though, we’re big fans and the subtle tweaks over time have kept the Lexa at the forefront of what it means to be a true all-mountain binding.

Who Is The Burton Lexa For?

Any lady with a penchant for performance, be it in the park, ripping the piste or floaty pow laps. For the price, it don’t get much better than this- so buckle up.

Baseplate

The Lexa’s are a go anywhere, do anything kind of binding, and every feature has been honed down to make them as adaptable as possible, to meet the needs of variable terrain and conditions. The nylon/glass composite found in the Lexa’s is used in pretty much every Burton binding, purely for the fact that it’s reactive and rugged, whilst still being relatively lightweight.

The one-piece construction offers consistent feel underfoot, with the Living Hinge disk keeping an unobstructive flex to retain a playful feel when you’re getting your jib and poke on, and Burton back it so much they slap a lifetime warranty on them.

Straps and Highbacks

The asymmetric Hammockstrap 2.0 puts the onus on fit and security, the honeycomb pattern wrapping around your boot to keep you locked in, same goes for the low profile, fully injected Capstrap toe straps.

It’s 2021 and the forward lean debate still goes strong- at the end of the day it’s horses for courses but if you did want to dabble with the angle, then Burton have you covered with their Canted Living Hinge Technology- a bit of a mouthful but at the end of the day it’s a piece of cake to use.

The one-piece highback is also rotationally adjustable to help line up with your board edges, and ergonomically shaped to offer maximum support with being obstrusive.

“ Comfort, convenience and crisp colourways keep the Lexa’s as a definite one to beat”

Roundup

The pro-level tech might put some off, but if you’re more of a novice rider then the Lexa’s are a great investment, they’ll do you all the way up until pro level. If you’re already an expert ripper, then you know exactly why you’re here. Comfort, convenience and crisp colourways keep the Lexa’s as a definite one to beat.
