Burton UK are putting on a freestyle camp which will be hitting the Snowdome at Tamworth tomorrow night. The idea is to get shredders of all ability levels riding together, with the Burton Team and the Snowdome coaching squad on hand to give hints and tips on technique. Gary Greenshields, Tom ‘Little T’ Guilmard and Chris Kightly will be among the instructors.
With the first camp taking place tomorrow evening (August 3rd) followed by a second installment at the Snowdome on August 17th, there’s not much time left to bag one of the limited spots.
Burton are making a point of throwing open the event to everyone as well, so even if you’re not a regular rider on freestyle nights it’ll be well worth having a look. As Ferg from Burton tells it: “If your looking to improve your rail riding, kickers or just getting to grips with your first ollie, this will be the camp for you”.
The whole night will be filmed as well, so there’ll be a session afterwards where you can checkout your skills, get some advice on how to improve, or just laugh at yourself falling over!
Burton will also be dragging a load of their brand new 2010-11 boards, boots and bindings down to the dome for people to test out – and trust us, a lot of their next year’s boards are bangers. The whole package costs £30, which is actually cheaper than a normal freestyle night! So if you fancy having a fun shred on brand new kit, and perhaps learning a new trick or two, then head get booking your place by calling 08448 000011.
