Buck Love – Canadian Snowboard Movie – Part One

Tom Honey and Jonny Russell are nothing if not prolific – the pair of them (who both ride for Bond) headed over to Canada for the winter last year, and ended up featuring in not just one, but two different Canadian shred flicks! Last week we posted the teaser for the Love Inc. sponsored Snap Crackle & Pop, and now we have this – part one of Buck Love.

This film, as Tom explains, is very much a local movie – made on a budget of nothing, and filmed by a bunch of mates (Kelowna’s finest apparently) around the Okanagan area… wherever that is. But while there might not be any massive names, trips to far-flung locations, or helis filming heli shots, it’s still well wroth a watch.

This intro and the first part (by Jesse Sorensen) boast some pretty frickin’ sick riding, some interesting spots, and a banging soundtrack (seriously, using Tom Lehrer? that shit’s just inspired!) Plus, the lads just look like they’re having a good time pissing around. Which is what it’s all about really isn’t it? Roll on part two!
