No, this isn’t a repeat of the Sheffield Ski Village disaster – pyrotechnics and grassroots snowboarding might not seem like the most logical mix of interests, but for James Murray (AKA PhaseFOTO) that’s where work meets play. And, by the looks ‘o things, he’s pretty handy with a camera as well, meaning that when James Webb and Nathan Onions wanted to do something to promote their Southern Freestyle Club and the UK dryslope scene, he was their first port of call.

Armed with military grade smoke bombs, the team – along with Henry Shackleton and Luke Kimbal – created the striking images that you can see above at John Nike Leisuresport in Bracknell – hit/swipe left and right to scroll through the gallery.
