Who Is The Bent Metal Stylist For?

As long as you’re not a complete and utter beginner, the Stylist is all systems go. Soft enough to razz through the park, but enough juice to charge on piste, they’ll do a bit of everything and they’ll do it well.

Baseplate

There’s no denying that one of the things that sets Bent Metal apart from the crowd is their Flex Control Drive Plates. What are they? Essentially mini snowboards under each of your feet. They’re manufactured with a core and a topsheet, just like your board and create sophisticated flex patterns to allow for incredible energy transfer.

For premium versatility the plates can be swapped out for softer or stiffer versions depending on your riding style or mix and match to find your perfect fit.

A unibody chassis is the basis of the baseplate, built using a vibration absorbing polymer to avoid chatter as you’re riding. They’re size adjustable to allow you to center your boots in on your board to garner the ultimate in control and avoid catching your toes or heel as you’re carving.

Straps and Highbacks

The Cube. So small. So Simple. So Perfect. Easily one of the best forward lean adjustments on the market, such a simple idea but one that has been executed perfectly. Bravo. Forward lean might not be everybody’s jam, but it’s something we’d always recommend to play around with to find your perfect ride.

The Stylist uses a nylon polymer asymmetric highback, slightly shorter and rounder at the top to generally fit more accurately with a woman’s physiology. They’re relatively malleable to open you up to a world of buttering, pressing, tweaking and boning out grabs.

A softer flexing dual band ankle strap moulds round the contours of your boot without the traditional plush padding, which on the surface may seem comfortable, but more often than not it ends up causing pressure points across your instep

Roundup

With artwork by the incredibly talented Hannah Eddy, the Bent Metal Stylist clearly live up to their name- stylish by name, stylish by nature.
