Adjustability is the name of the game with the Axtion. The whole ride can be changed with a few choice tweaks, namely the interchangeable Flex Drive Plates. They’re even finished with an eco-sublimated topsheet, just like actual Mervin made snowboards. You can swap out your Drive Plates for softer or stiffer ones depending on your riding preferences.

Forward lean is a controversial topic in snowboarding, hang around a mountain bar long enough and you’re bound to hear a slurred debate about its merits and downfalls. Cranking up your forward lean offers more leverage and power through your turns, but it’s not for everyone.
