This edit from Andrew Burns just dropped yesterday, but you could be forgiven for thinking that this part came out fifteen years ago, not that that’s a bad thing. At all.
This is some classic riding on display: in the current clime of webisodes, street edits and ultra slow-mo mountaineering films it’s rare to see the old skills pushed like this, the last really memorable clip being Elias Elhardt’s full part from last year’s Pirates movie.
Big backcountry booters, steep powder faces and huge cliff hucks – if you remember Devun Walsh‘s old segments at all fondly this could be the part you should watch today.
Plus it’s all set to ‘The Move’ by the Beastie Boys which – along with some classic editing techniques – really puts you in mind of some of the great parts of old. Andrew Burns really is keeping those embers glowing right now.
