Seriously, who needs snow? I mean I know powder’s amazing and stuff, but when you can do this kind of thing without it? It was only a couple of weeks ago that we were getting all kinds of excited about the video of the ‘Go Big or Go Home’ comp at Bearsden dryslope, and then another even more amazing one crops up! Marc McClement, Danny McCormick and his brother Matt, Stu Gairns and Jesse Smith are seriously pushing the boundaries of dryslope riding here, egging each other on to bigger and better things and throwing down a couple of doubles. OK so Marc’s double back rodeo is sketchy as hell, but come on, this is dryslope we’re talking about here!
This might be a casual session filmed by mates, but the riding is rad. It brings to mind the kind of riding that (legend has it) used to go down at Rossendale in the nineties, when a similarly tight-knit crew featuring Steve Bailey, the Brass brothers, Chris Moran and Danny Wheeler were pushing UK riding forward. Has their mantle now moved on up north of the border?
