The Ski & Snowboard show is back for it’s 39th year and will be rolling into Earls Court 2 tomorrow (31st October) until the 4th of November. With some of Britain’s finest Snowsports retailers and brands in attendance, it’s a great opportunity to score some recession busting deals on snowboard kit for your trips this winter as well as watch some live ski and snowboard stunting. Our friends at The BRITS will be hosting a rail jam at the show called ‘The Battle at The BRITS” and twelve of the UK’s best rail riders (6 snowboarders, 6 skiers) will be invited down to compete in the skate style event. The riders will session the course in an open jam before each rider calls a different trick that the others have to perform, or risk being knocked out. One rider will be knocked out in each round until the last man standing is declared the winner. The jam is all set to kick off at 2.30pm on Saturday 3rd November.
On top of the Rail Jam, the airbag at the show will be opened up to the public on Saturday from 5.30pm onwards and everyone from kids through to O.A.P.’s will be able to send it into the giant, cushy marshmallow on skis or board if they want (although we’d strongly advise against pregnant women, people with heart problems or people that have had too many Jaegerbombs jumping for their own safety). There will be prizes up for grabs from Protest, Dare 2b and Trespass.
