After four days of shredding, Audi Nines 2021 is a wrap. This year’s course pushed the boundaries once again, being described by event founder Nico Zacek, creating “a bridge between action sports and design” and encouraging the riders to showcase their creativity on another level.

This year, the innovative playground of finely sculpted features found itself a new home: Plaine Morte Glacier above Swiss Crans-Montana. The setup played host to a select crew of top athletes from the 7th to the 10th of April while inspiring endless potential for innovation.
Even if the event has all the elements of a ‘traditional’ snowboard competition, it doesn’t classify itself as a contest. Instead, the riders cast votes at the end of the event to recognize the session’s most impressive performers in three different categories: Best Trick, Most Creative and Ruler of the week.
