That’s it, that’s all – the Audi Nines 2019 is a wrap. The wildest week, with the cream of the crop of the snowboarding world sessioning the most progressive courses the world has clapped it beady little eyes on. The riders were throwing down mind bogglers all week, getting themselves pumped for Saturday’s contest day where months of preparation and planning culminated in the gnarliest showdown we’ve seen.
The Mens competition was taken by Norwegian Mons Røisland, who was laying out some of the most tech tricks on the market, including a gigantic switch backside 16. Following him up was Swedish ripper Sven Thorgren who put down possibly the cleanest backside triple rodeo that has ever been done, rounding out the Mens podium was Austrian Clemens Millauer. Jan Sherrer got the award for best quarter pipe trick with his sickeningly stylish switch McTwist method.
