In amongst the barrage of teasers that have been dumped on the web this year there have been a few that have stood out. This is one of them. Antti Autti, the Finnish halfpipe wizard has gone the way of all riders with weakened knees and started chasing that white, powdery dragon and his latest film – Approach & Attack – is that approach refined.

Freeriding. Is. Free.

Open faces, pillow lines and stormy forests from all round the globe get a pummelling from the crew which includes Antti himself, Tyler Chorlton, Miikka Hast, Sylvain Bourbossoun, Will Jackaways and the Car Danchi Crew.

All the classic powder destinations from around the globe get visited: New Zealand, British Columbia, Norway and of course Japan. We’ve said it countless times, but there’s a hell of a lot of snow there. Godzilla’s farts must consist of pure pow.

In fact, the one thing that lets it down is the voice overs near the end. Hopefully the full movie will keep the pro snowboarder insight into riding powder every day to a minimum, by now we must have had enough ‘freeriding is free’ chat to last us a life time.
