Remember when Antti Autti rocked up to the 2005 X-Games superpipe final, threw down back-to-back 1080s, spanked the rest of the field and was touted as the next big thing in contest snowboarding? Who would have predicted that his first X-Games gold (the first for any Euro) would also be his last?

Years of carrot-topped domination followed, while Mr. Autti changed tack. His most recent project is a million miles away from the world of judging and scoreboards – Antiout follows the Finn as he travels the world with good buddies looking for good times. Here’s the trailer:

It’s yet another cracking teaser (we’ve already had handplants in Switzerland and Japanese pow and, erm, even more Japanese pow), leaving no doubt that leaving the contest circuit behind was the right move for Antti. The movie’s out at the end of October.
