It’s always interesting to watch snowboarders skating. I’ve always found that they seem to take a different approach to hitting features, focusing less on doing the most tech tricks and more on skating clean and fast with the calculated style that comes from snowboarding. Guys that are naturally techy on skateboards are often the snowboarders who really excel as jibbers – think Jed Anderson and Forest Bailey (who, alongside Jeremy Jones, Niels Schack and Mark Sollors puts down some solid skate tricks at the start of this edit).
Then it’s back onto snow at the Burton Rail Days comp for some slow motion tricks from the jam session and finals. Once again, it’s great to see Jamie Nicholls feature heavily here with the high calibre of tricks that eventually earned him second place.
