Amuse Bouche with Victor Daviet | An appetizer for what’s to come

Salomon Presents Victor Daviet's B-Roll Footage from The Pirate Crew's upcoming edit DRIVEN

Together with the Pirate Crew, Victor Daviet has spent the last two years filming for DRIVEN. Due to the pandemic, we won’t yet get to see all the fun the crew has been having but as a little appetizer, Salomon’s just put out this teaser showcasing what Daviet’s been up to.

From Salomon:
Over the last two years, Victor Daviet has been working with the Pirate Crew on their latest project, DRIVEN. With unforeseen circumstances presented by the pandemic, the Pirate Crew has decided to add another year to the project, ensuring expectations aren’t compromised and the final product is nothing short of jaw-dropping.

“I spent the last 2 seasons riding part-time for DRIVEN, the new Pirates Movie Production film project”

As one might imagine, three years of filming allows for premium ‘b-roll’ footage. Amuse Bouche was created in efforts to curb the growing appetite for DRIVEN, satiating us like a fine brie and artichoke dip with Victor’s stylish approach to the backcountry and leaving us drooling for the main course.

“I spent the last 2 seasons riding part-time for DRIVEN, the new Pirates Movie Production film project. Being part of the adventure was an opportunity to ride in some of the best places for deep pow—Japan, Canada, and Austria — along with my snowboard heroes Gigi Ruff & John Jackson. Some amazing times on board!

The movie was supposed to be out this fall, but as with other projects, due to the pandemic the production and trips were cut short. For this reason, the Pirates decided to take one more year to deliver you something fresh and tasty as the final product. The movie will be out next year. Because 3 years is too long of a wait, and the main dish always comes with an appetizer, we wanted to deliver you a powder snack with the footage that won’t make to the movie: enjoy your Amuse Bouche.” – Victor Daviet.
