Who Are The Airblaster Heritage Parka and Stretch Krill Bib For?

These are made for the guys who value style as much as they do the technical performance. With a 15K waterproof rating, you’ll be blasting through nipple deep snow without having to worry about getting wet, while the insulation in the jacket will serve you well on colder days.

Materials and Construction

Both the jacket and the pants feature a 2-layer waterproof shell fabric. This means that the protective inner coating is bonded to the face fabric that has been treated with an Eco-DWR coating, enabling water bead and roll off the garment, rather than ‘wet out’.

If unfamiliar with the waterproof ratings, let us break it down. A 15K waterproofing means 15,000mm of water, based on filling a once-inch diameter tube, is required to penetrate the fabric, giving you solid protection from snow. In layman’s terms, you can stay out in some pretty horrid conditions for hour on end without the elements breaking through.

For added movement, the bib pants are built with a Stretch Krill canvas that is both durable and non-restrictive. For added warmth, Airblaster’s placed 80G of synthetic insulation in the jacket that continues to do its job, even if it gets a little wet.

Fit and Features

Designed with Airblaster’s Blaster Fit Long Cut, the Heritage Parka comes in a relaxed full-coverage fit with plenty of room to move and with 2” of added length to the fit.

The relaxed fit on the pants means that they’re designed with a traditional straight leg cut and allow for plenty of mobility when you’re boning out your grabs, or reaching for that next step in the bootpack.

For added breathability, the jacket is equipped with mesh-lined zippered underarm vents. That same style of vent can be found on the inner legs of the pants, too.

Stacked with plenty of pockets, the jacket includes one for personal items and another one for your lift pass. For added durability on the pants, rip stopper reinforced Kick Patches have been added to the heels to ensure a longer lifetime of the garment.

Roundup

Airblaster’s Heritage Parka and Stretch Krill Bibs are the epitome of style meeting technical performance. A slightly longer cut on the jacket gives the bum a bit of added protection from cold and wet, while the bibs already do their job at keeping any snow from getting in.
