This is hands down the most technical outerwear line we have yet seen from Adidas Snowboarding. New for 20/21, the Adidas 3L Bib pants not only look great but also offer durability at a reasonable price.

For winter 2021 Adidas Snowboarding is stepping up their game and bringing us quality outerwear without compromising on their heritage design. The 3L bib pants are durable, whilst also placing high up on both the waterproofing and breathability scale.

When venturing out in deep snow, you ought to make sure your snowboard pants are waterproof enough not to let any snow through. The 20K waterproof rating is high enough for you to rely on, and ideal if you are looking for a bib to take you through a backcountry adventure.

Another measurement you want to look out for when planning on spending more time in the backcountry is how breathable the pants are. With breathability, you measure how quickly moisture vapour from the body can get through the fabric and out to the environment. The Adidas 3L bibs rank at 15K, meaning they will do just fine in the backcountry.

The bibs have also got a good number of pockets going for them, so worrying about not having enough room to stash your valuables in won’t be an issue. Coming with a chest pocket and two side pockets, all three of these are zipped and nicely reassuring when it comes to the safety of your valuables.

Considering that the Adidas 3L Bib places quite highly on the technical scale, you might get away with something cheaper and less technical if you’re just just planning on lapping the resort. Have a look at the Adidas Snowboarding Mobility Pants as they might serve your purpose better depending on what you’re planning to do in the mountains. Compare and contrast. They’re both excellent products.

The model in the photo is 5’8” (173cm) tall and wearing size L.
