Stella Pentti

Born and raised in Helsinki, Finland, growing up surrounded by snowy winters and snowboarders, it feels only natural that Stella ended up writing for a snowboard magazine. After moving to Innsbruck in 2014 to study, Stella made the most of having the mountains on her doorstep, and by summer 2017, she did a brief internship for Whitelines in London. After being offered a full time role at the mag in 2019, Stella’s role has become more specialised in interviewing people from a whole cross-section of the industry. Sharing other people’s stories and learning from them, hoping it can help us make the industry more diverse and eventually make it more accessible is where her passion for the role lies these days. In addition to this, Stella also covers some of the key stories surrounding sustainability in snowsports. With travel back on the cards, Stella has also been spending more time behind the lens, documenting snowboard contests, events and press trips.
