Who Are The Quiksilver Highline Pro For?

Made from Gore-Tex Pro, the Highline Pro outerwear is made for the guys who can’t risk their outerwear giving up on them in any situation. Aimed for exploring the versatility of backcountry terrain, the jacket and the pants are breathable, waterproof and extremely durable.

Materials and Construction

What differentiates Gore-Tex Pro from the standard Gore-Tex membrane is that it’s covered by lighter weight and a more breathable face fabric making Gore-Tex Pro the most rigid and breathable fabric in the entire Gore-collection. This will come in handy when you’re working your way through knee-deep snow in the backcountry trying to reach your line.

The fabric has also been sealed together with fully taped seams further preventing any water or wind from getting through. However, as both the jacket and the pants are offered as a 3-layer shell, it’s wise to layer up underneath if you’ve got the tendency to not react well to cold.

Fit and Features

Sporting what Quiksilver refers to as a Modern Fit, both the jacket and the pants combine the best of both relaxed and slim to create a stylish fit with lots of mobility. In other words, the fit isn’t too baggy but neither is it too slim, making it easy to move in without adding too much extra weight.

Packed with a bunch of handy features too, the jacket is equipped with a 3-way adjustable and helmet-compatible hood, a fixed stretch powder skirt, two large chest pockets for easy storage, one large mesh pocket and a pocket for your lift pass.

The pants do not fall short on features either. An integrated hydration HydraPack 250ml supple flask can be found to make it easier to stay hydrated, while a secured chest pocket will take good care of your transceiver.
